Can you imagine of a summer word that could make someone feel uncomfortable? Yes, there is such a thing and it is called SPF. Using an SPF product was definitely a nightmare of mine as I was growing up. The thick white paste and I never got along well, so I preferred to stand for hours under the sun without any protection. Girls with super oily skin know the drill for sure, right? As I’m getting older I understand that staying unprotected isn’t cool and your future self will thank you if you use your SPF daily.
Although these products can be tricky, it’s a matter of time to find a great one. And fortunately, science has moved forward very quickly and the progress is showcased in the formulas. Forget the white-casty, thick consistency that clogs every pore on your face.
Today I gathered the top 4 options that cover the face, the body and also the hair. They are all amazing and they make the whole SPF game way easier and for the first time, fun!

Anthelios Mist SPF 50 / La Roche Posay
No matter your skin type or your previous “ bad relationship” with a sunscreen, this is going to help you wear a high SPF daily. It is a super fine, lightweight, transparent mist that smells amazing and can be worn over makeup or on bare skin. Consider it as the ultimate handbag essential, as you can get it out anywhere and just spray it on, without using your -probably- dirty hands. Whoop whoop!

Sun Screen Color Velvet Face SPF 50+ / Frezyderm
I can’t say enough good things about this one. It may be a sunscreen, but think about it as a “your skin but better primer”. It is super lightweight and has a velvety texture and finish. The color might seem scary at first as it looks very orange, but it is definitely not.
Once you blend it into the skin, it gives you a healthy allover color that compliments beautifully your skin. On good skin days I apply it by itself and on bad skin days, I use a foundation on top. Frezyderm is killing it lately, as this product not only protects your skin but also blurs lines, pores and imperfections all in one. Its consistency reminds me a lot of pore-fessional by Benefit, but it is a lot thinner, which is great. The only downside is that I don’t think it can be used on super fair skin because the color is a little too dark.

Sea Side Dry Mist SPF 50+ / Frezyderm
This is hands down the best body sunscreen I’ve ever used. At first let’s take a moment and look at this packaging! Isn’t it amazing? It’s so innovative and unique that made me want it just for that. Of course it’s not only super pretty to look at, but it is also very practical and quick, as it covers your whole body in 3-4 spritzes. The smell is extremely good and addictive and the consistency is a bit thicker than water. You can spread it easily, as it is transparent and doesn’t need a lot of rubbing in. Dream in a bottle.

Sun Protective Milky Oil For Hair / Nuxe
As I have blonde highlighted hair, they tend to be a bit too dry, so I am constantly making efforts to keep them healthy and moisturized. This particular sunscreen from Nuxe isn’t just to protect the hair from the sun, but also acts as a barrier for salt and chlorine. It features a great smell and I like to apply it on dry hair before heading to the beach and on wet hair after I get out of the sea or pool. Due to its rich texture, I wouldn’t consider it a daily protection for when you’re just heading out of the house, but as a great solution to keep your hair in good condition during summer and water activities. It leaves my hair moisturized and easily brushed.
