Even if you don’t believe it there are actually smart beauty shopping tips for Black Friday. And I’m here to tell you all about taking advantage of the crazy sale deals that are happening throughout the Black Friday week.
I have a very specific way to shop on Black Friday even if my first opinion was negative. I couldn’t stand this day and all the sales going on a week before and after that. Cheap-ing things up is something I dislike and I prefer my super slow, thoughtful way of shopping on beauty, fashion & life in general way way more.

Tip 1: Stock Up
If there is something I’d recommend doing on Black Friday, then this would be stocking up on your favorites.
See what you’re using daily. From the makeup remover you’re obsessed with and can’t go a day without, to your moisturizer, your favorite shampoo or makeup item that you run through quickly and repurchase frequently.
These are the products you need even if they aren’t exciting. For me, a product like that is my all time favorite makeup removing balm from Clinique. The “Take The Day Off Balm”. It’s not as exciting as the mini makeup bundles that are on sale and make my heart race when I see them, but I know that I will need the makeup remover instead.
What do I do? I stock up on that. I’ll buy 4-5 jars with 40% off the original price, that will last me until the next year. As we speak I use my last jar of this balm that I got last year on Black Friday. How awesome is this?
The key here is not to be tempted to buy things that excite you, but things that will make your life easier. Stick to that, ignore the rest.
Tip 2: Buy Gifts
My next beauty shopping tip for Black Friday would definitely be buying gifts for the people you love.
Whether someone in your life has his/her birthday near Black Friday or you want to buy gifts for the Holidays ahead of time, Black Friday sales are great for that.
There are amazing offers on splurge worthy beauty products, tools or mini sets that everyone loves. So if you had to buy a gift like that in 1-2 months then why not buy it now on a much better price?
My tip here is to think about what gifts you’ll need, check out the sites that you love and when the sale hits just grab them immediately. It’s a win-win situation.
Tip 3: Try Something New
My last tip is to try something new for yourself.
You know that expensive skincare tool you’re looking at all year long and don’t want to splurge because it’s a bit too much? That beautiful eyeshadow palette and this introductory kit from a skincare brand you’ve never tried before?
Well, Black Friday is actually great for this. You can try all the new things you wanted without having to spend too much. So, treat yourself and enjoy it to the fullest.
My best tip here is to pick something you really wanted -and needed- but haven’t got the chance of buying. Don’t fall into the trap of over-shopping without a thought process just because “it is on sale”.
Treating yourself to something new has to be done with your long-term happiness in mind. So keep it simple. It always works!

Following the tips above, I’m planning on stocking up on my favorite makeup remover, daily serums and hair products I use all the time. Not super exciting I know.
