Easy, quick makeup looks that don’t require too many steps yet give an enormous amount of confidence are my go-to. Even when we are talking about evening makeup or event makeup, I want to look polished but can’t stand using more than 2 eyeshadows. Are you with me?
I have easy formulas in my mind when it comes to night time makeup and you can pick my brain here. This super fun & easy New Years Eve makeup look couldn’t be an exception.
Sparkly glass-like eyelids, a small cat-flick liner, glowy minimal base and the perfect nude lip is my ultimate recipe for looking chic no matter what I choose to wear. This NYE makeup looks perfect with anything; dresses, suits, skirts or any other style you want to pair it with.

Base Makeup Products For An Easy New Years Eve Makeup Look
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation
For my base I chose one of my favorite finds of 2022; the Airbrush Flawless Foundation from Charlotte Tilbury in the shade Neutral 2.
I have to say 3 things for this one:
- If you have oily skin I think you’ll love it! It’s like perfect skin in a bottle.
- Spray a hydrating mist before you apply it as it blends way easier this way.
- You only need a super small amount like a little less than half a pump as it is super pigmented.
The key with this foundation is to blend it in very well for a natural outcome and you’ll see the difference immediately. It covers everything but feels like nothing, what’s better than this?
It also lasts for hours without separating and keep in mind that it oxidizes a bit once it’s on for 1-2 minutes. So maybe grab a shade lighter if you want to try it out. For me Neutral 2 (I’m a NC15 in MAC) looks a little light in the first few seconds but after I finish blending it becomes one with my skin tone.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
I use the shade Vanilla Light 2 in this concealer which I use for the last 4 years. Going back and forth and trying new things never stopped my love for this one.
It’s creamy, covers very well veins or darkness underneath the eyes and never dries out this delicate area. Perfection!
Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer
I use this one for any imperfection on the face. Blemishes, little veins, dark spots and everything in between just vanish with this concealer.
I use the shade Vanilla Light 2 for this as well. It’s super matte and long wearing so it’s not a surprise that works amazingly in covering imperfections. One-two little touches with a small brush and boom!
P.S. It’s also good for under the eyes but if you prefer a more creamy formula then try the Radiant Creamy one.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur
I’ve reviewed this one on my Instagram Reels as well as I loved it from the first try.
It’s not a secret that I’m a fan of the original one for years from back when I had acne and needed the best of the best to keep my concealer on for hours -blemish prone girls know the struggle, right?
But I find this ultra-blur one a bit lighter in a way. It smooths out the skin and never looks cakey. It lasts well and it’s perfect for daily use. In my opinion this newer version can be used by normal or less oily skin types as well.
The Ultimate Definition Products For NYE Makeup
Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Lite Bronzer
This is by far the most flattering bronzer shade for fair to super fair skin tones. It blends quickly and warms up fair skin tones perfectly.
Never looks orange-y, never looks muddy. Who can beat this? Fair girls I’ve got you!
Hourglass Cosmetics Vanish Stick Blush
I use this stick blush when I’m in a rush as it applies beautifully, without removing what I have underneath. Plus it stays on for hours.
I’m using the shade Devoted; a super “healthy” looking shade that just flashes the complexion. Not too bright but definitely not boring. Ideal to have in your bag when you’re out and need a quick fix.
Róen Beauty RÓGLOW Skin Stick Highlighter
I use the shade Glazed which is a light shade that features both cool & champagne-gold particles in its formula.
It is super flattering and applies better when you tap it with your finger and then apply it on your cheekbones. It looks like your cheeks are wet in the best way possible. Not glittery just glowy. Love it!
Brow Products For A Polished NYE Look
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
I’m using the shade Taupe nearly 4-5 years now as I find that this is the best brow product I’ve ever tried.
Quick, efficient and long-wearing. Just how I like it!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Wax
This is my newest addition and I can’t say enough good things about this product.
I’ve used to use the Clear Brow Gel but this just won! I love doing my brows with it as it works fast and lasts depending on how much product you use. You can find the ideal amount of product by trying it a few times as we all have different hair in our brows.
If you love the “natural” polished brushed up brows then you’ll love it too.
Eye Makeup Products For A Dazzling Evening Look
Natasha Denona Camel Palette
For my look I used the lightest camel shade as an all over wash of color to add definition and then took the dark matte brown shade to draw a cat-flick line.
If you need an everyday palette that is high performing, easy to use, small and versatile then look no further. You need this! I’m using it everyday since 2018 as I love the neutral tones of the shadows that aren’t too warm or too cool.
They’re just in the middle and perfect for chic no-makeup, makeup looks for everyday. Love it!
Róen Beauty 11:11 Palette
Now where should I start with this one? I love it; is this enough?
I’m using the light gray-ish glittery shade all over my lids and then adding the lightest pinky glitter just in the center to make my eyelids look like they’re wet from a distance.
This palette is super easy to use as you can get away using only your fingers. Believe it or not you can create day looks with it that are polished and give definition but don’t look “too-done”. Pure perfection!
These shadows have a super unique “creamy” consistency, so they do crease a little bit. I don’t bother at all as I just need a tap with my finger to bring them back to life and it’s not obvious from a distance.
Clinique High Impact Easy Liquid Liner
I use the eyeshadow line I’ve created before as a guide to draw my liquid eyeliner.
This is by far the number one mistake-free way to do liquid eyeliner quickly and efficiently. This Clinique one is indeed super easy to use and stays on forever.
Doesn’t separate and has the perfect tip; not too strong, nor too bendable just in the middle. If you’re having a hard time with liquid liner try this!
Nars High Pigment Longwear Eyeliner
I use this for tight-lining my upper lash line for “hidden” definition.
I never fail to do this trick as it’s like having thicker lashes but no one can see why. This pencil from Nars in the shade Via Veneto is the perfect product for that. Very pigmented and stays on for hours. What’s better than this?
L’Oréal Paris Paradise Waterproof Mascara
If you have straight lashes then get this mascara.
It gives both length and volume and keeps the lashes curly the whole day. Keep in mind that it becomes better as the time passes by and make sure you’re taking off some of the product on the brush as it performs way better with less product.
This mascara along with the best ever eyelash curler is a match made in heaven for us straight lash girls.
The Ultimate Nude Lip Combination
Makeup For Ever Artist Color Pencil
How many times do I have to say that this is the best of the best pencils for making the lips look fuller?
This pencil in the shade Endless Cacao is a can’t-live-without product for me as I use it by itself, over lipglosses, lipsticks and whatever I have on my lips. It never fails to deliver a fuller outcome.
Don’t be afraid of the taup-y shade it’s a game changer when blended in well with your finger.
P.S. Did you know that this pencil formula is for lips, eyes & brows as well? What a multitasker!
Lisa Eldridge Velvet Fawn Lipstick
If someone asked me what’s the best nude lipstick out there I’d say this one from the queen herself Lisa Eldridge.
Velvet Fawn is my go-to when I want to look my best. Extreme color pay off and looks like velvet. Plus this shade is the most flattering ever; perfect mix of pink, brown and anything in between.
Absolute dream!
