-It’s not for your under eye area as it’s kind of a more “stiff” formula.

-It’s extremely precise, no matter the size of the blemish / imperfection.

True Velvet Lip Color review
One month I might be into lip gloss and the other one on the completely matte side of things.
BUT that doesn’t mean that my big and truest love *above all* is always a good matte lipstick.
That’s what excites me, that’s what I’m always searching for.
The “next big thing”, the next luxury matte lipstick that will outperform all the others in my mind.
True Velvet lipstick from Lisa Eldridge is exactly that.
Once I saw it coming out I had to try it! The bullet, the texture, the description.

It’s indeed a “velvety”, super pigmented matte lipstick with a crazy exciting color range.
Today, we’ll discuss about the perfect nude shade called Velvet Fawn; most beautiful pinky, brown, beigy neutral shade.
Velvet Fawn made me purchase it in the first place and along with the formula made me stay loyal for more than 2 years.
What makes it an everyday essential
-You can wear it lightly like an undetectable cloud color anywhere.
-Additionally, you can wear it full-on for an opaque velvet finish or paired with smokey eyes for nights out.
-Apply it in the morning and forget it. No need for touch ups.

The lip pencil I use instead of multiple products

I only use one grey/taupe lip pencil for everything; from nudes, reds or dark lip products in general.
And I can’t change my mind easily concerning lip liner shades and formulas.
All I’m asking is blurred definition and bigger looking lips that last during the day. Is it too much?
When Lisa came out with lip liners made me raise an eyebrow of curiosity at first.

I didn’t have any expectations; not for Lisa, I’m sure she always delivers.
But for me. It’s like I’m stuck with my one and only and don’t even care for anything else.
Well, let me tell you I changed my mind once I saw the nude shade 0N.
Surprisingly, it became a makeup bag essential fast.
What makes it different
-The shade. 0N is a neutral, “greige” shade as she describes it. And it’s perfection if you have fair skin.
-The only nude hue in the market that is actually flattering and doesn’t wash you out. Not too beige / grey nor too “peachy”. Just right.
– Matte formula that doesn’t dry out the lips.
-Glides on easily but not “too easily”.
-Stays on your lips without the need for touch ups.
-Looks awesome alone, paired with lipstick or lip gloss.
-Great if you are in a hurry before leaving the house and just need effortless definition on your lips.
The one-and -done eyeshadow that made my eye makeup effortless
Liquid Silk liquid eyeshadow review
I find nothing better than a nice light wash of color on the eyelids for everyday.
A little bit of definition without being in your face or looking too much.
Preferably in a neutral camel shade that will bring some warmth and aliveness on the whole face.
Liquid Silk eyeshadow from Lisa Eldridge in Phoebe is the best eyeshadow to achieve that.
She describes it as a “warm, light camel” and it’s the perfect option for everyday.
This color goes with anything; whether you want to pair it with a red lip, pinks or nudes. It ties everything in and makes your makeup look complete.
The formula is the best I’ve ever tried in a liquid eyeshadow; easy to apply and blends like a dream.
Believe me, you’ll be amazed on how fast you’ll have a fantastic complete makeup look!
What makes it different
-The texture is indeed like a liquid silk or velvet on your eyelids.
-How fast it blends; unlike anything else.
-Perfect if you don’t have time or if you are new to makeup.
-It lasts all day! I have oily eyelids (and hooded eyes) and the only thing I see after a couple of hours is a small crease. With a light finger dab everything looks great again.
-You can wear it as s wash of color or more boldly depending on the day / occasion.
-Great for traveling minimally. No palettes needed. Just this small eyeshadow and you’re done!
Final thoughts
I love an easy everyday makeup routine with few steps. And these 4 products from Lisa Eldridge give me just that. I’ll never be without them.
They are easy, fast and high performing. One swipe of each and I’m ready.
Absolute perfection as I’m looking both natural and polished at the same time. Woohoo!
