    My Current Favorite Face Highlighters

This cold af weather doesn’t help with our mood -at all. The perfect way to cheer up? Of course highlighters. They’re the ultimate solution to turn grey, cold days into brighter ones; not because they are a major trend since the collaboration of Jaclyn Hill and Becca, but for their mood-boosting ability as well. Want to look like you’re glowing from within? Highlighter. Want to achieve a healthy skin appearance? Highlighter. You have dull dehydrated skin? Highlighter. See? It’s like the magical answer to your prayers.

I haven’t used highlighters for years because of my super oily skin -no need for extra attention there. But as I learned to sort out my skin issues effectively and of course found the products that suit me most, I can finally say now that I’m obsessed with highlighters big time.

Here are my current favorite ones..

    becca highlighters

Becca / Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed In Opal

It’s not the first time I’m writing about this product. I already mentioned it in my August Favorites. The only thing changed is that I managed to smash it as you can see. Good times! Imagine how much I love it that I’m still wearing it non stop. It’s gold color makes your cheekbones look out of this world, without any sparkly bits or glitters in its buttery formula. A little goes a long way, so you have to be careful when applying it. It looks beautiful in light, medium or even darker skin tones.

    becca pearl pressed

Becca / Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed In Pearl

Becca again, really? Yes. But this time for their palest highlighter shade. Pearl, is almost white, but gives an amazing glow. Don’t try it if you aren’t on the (snow white) fair side, because it may look grey on you. I mix mine with Opal when I have a tan and wear it alone when I haven’t. The quality is again five stars. The best part? After these photos, I smashed this one too. Perfection!

Chantecaille / Liquid Lumière Anti-Aging Illuminator In Sheen

Well, this is a lot fancier than your average highlighter, but if you like a super natural glow on your cheekbones, it does the job perfectly. The shade Sheen is a pearlescent soft pink shade, suitable for paler complexions. The pink tones don’t transfer to the skin though; you only get the dewy-ness. As a liquid highlighter, it is really quick to apply with your fingertips or a wet beauty blender -and I can’t smash it into pieces.
